Description: |
The Town of Newmarket requires a contract in place for disinfection services at any Town of Newmarket owned facility and / or vehicle and / or equipment, on an as needed basis. The required disinfection services would be used to disinfect areas in Town owned facilities and / or vehicles and / or equipment after a confirmed case of communicable disease (i.e. positive COVID-19) has occurred. Disinfection services are expected to be applied using an electrostatic or spray disinfecting method (or equal method) ensuring the supplier follows the required and appropriate dwell time. Deep cleaning services and disinfecting services must use disinfectants with a DIN registered product approved by Health Canada for the use against SARS COV-2 the virus know to cause COVID-19. The Owner expects that disinfection will be scheduled to occur up to or within 4 to 24 hours of the Town’s request for services. The services should be quick and effective and the products used approved by Health Canada. At a minimum the disinfectant must either include an identifier of “DIN” or “NPN” or as revised by Health Canada. The Owner expects all areas to be operational immediately or from 2 to 8 hours following a disinfection. The Suppliers disinfection team shall wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and dispose of the PPE in a manner to ensure no cross contamination occurs between contaminated surfaces and areas not contaminated. Shelton Operations Centre (1275 Maple Hill Court) • Ray Twinney Recreation Complex (100 Eagle Street West) • Magna Centre (800 Mulock Drive) • NewRoads Performing Arts Centre / Newmarket Theatre (505 Pickering Crescent) • Newmarket Seniors' Meeting Place (474 Davis Drive) • Newmarket Youth Centre & Sk8 Park (56 Charles Street) • Hollingsworth Arena (35 Patterson Street) • Old Town Hall (460 Botsford Street) • Elman W. The Owner also requires the disinfection of its owned vehicles, tools and equipment throughout its facilities on an as needed basis. Most vehicles, equipment and tools requiring disinfection will be predominately housed at the Robert N. Shelton Operations Centre (1275 Maple Hill Court), but these may also be located at other locations: Specifically, Fire Services apparatus, tools and / or equipment assigned to each of the locations described here will require disinfection services when and as needed being 16 small vehicles (trucks, vans, SUV’s) and 13 fire apparatus. For the Town Offices, there are 8 SUV’s and 1 mini-van and miscellaneous tools and equipment.
